Abilitations Lap Pad is great for fidgety fingers while providing an overall calming effect. Using weight to offer proprioceptive feedback is effective for children with autism, sensory integration disorders and many other neurological challenges. The luxurious fleece fabric is soft to the touch yet durable enough for everyday use. Use with supervision for 20 minutes at a time or as recommended. May be cooled in the freezer and warmed in the dryer. It should never go in the microwave. Filled with plastic pellets in a quilted pattern to provide even weight distribution and to prevent weight shifting. Machine wash in cold water. Dry on warm setting.
