Science First Air Core Solenoid coil carries 7 - 10 A intermittently and sustains a current of 5 A. When current passes through it, coil generates a magnetic field. A useful magnetic field for large number of magnetism and electricity experiments. Connect to a power supply that puts out less than 5 A to the solenoid.
