This Frey Scientific 100 Gram Electronic Balance is an essential tool for scientific investigations in chemistry, biology, and physical science. The balance measures in both and grams and has a readability to 0.001 grams. This precise digital balance features an integrated weigh-below hook, a shipping load cell lock, a flip-top draft shield with an integrated sample tray, a security bracket, an AC adapter, overload protection up to 20 pounds, optional RS-232 or USB snap-in module, and a menu lock to prevent reconfiguration of weighing units and modes. The digital balance has a 3-3/5 inch diameter and a stackable design that makes them easy to transport and store. Powered by 3 AA batteries. Batteries are not included.
